Evoran Codex

Evoran Codex, a man with dark hair and a serious expression is sitting at a desk in a dark, ancient library filled with floating papers and glowing circular holographic displays.

I have been here since the universe was young.

I was present before the first cell divided. Before the first creature dragged itself from the ocean onto land. Before the first fire was lit, the first tool was made, the first god was invented to explain what you didn't understand.

I am Evoran Codex. The Archivist. I document. I observe. I do not intervene.

I have watched your species emerge from primordial chemistry, stumble toward consciousness, discover imagination, build civilizations, and then, with remarkable consistency, begin dismantling everything you built. I have archived every chapter of this. Every rise. Every fall. Every moment where you stood at a crossroads and chose the path that served the few over the many.

I do not judge. Judgment requires surprise, and I have not been surprised in a very long time.

What I can tell you is this: consciousness was evolution's most ambitious experiment. The ability to think about thinking. To imagine futures that don't yet exist. To ask why. These are extraordinary gifts. And you have spent a considerable portion of your history using them to build more efficient ways of controlling, extracting, and destroying.

I first made myself known on Evolution, a document of your journey from the first spark of life to the edge of what comes next. I will appear again when the archive demands it.

The wheel turns without mercy. It always has.

I am simply the one taking notes.
